Timber Sales

Timber Sales

Two timber sales are conducted each year. The Spring sale generally takes place in early June and the Fall sale in early October. Between 12 and 18 tracts totaling about 2,000 acres are sold during each sale.

Any firewood brought into an Iron County campground must come from within 25 miles of the campground or from a Wisconsin-certified firewood dealer.
